An aperitif in the name of art on May 16 at Il Moro in Monza which temporarily hosts the exhibition “Carte d’ombra”
Il Moro di Monza, the historic restaurant owned by the Butticé family, temporarily hosts the art exhibition “Carte d’ombra“, which will be inaugurated on May 16 at 6.30 pm with an aperitif based on the sweet and savory specialties of the house, an expression of the ultimate goal of the project: to represent the synergy between contemporary art and the evolution sought and pursued by the restaurant’s cuisine.
The philosophy behind this experimental project is in fact to bring art
outside the canonical exhibition spaces, bringing it closer to an audience that has the opportunity to live a complete experience: sensory, through the refined dishes of the cuisine of Vincenzo and Salvatore Butticè, and mental, with total immersion in an emotionally and intellectually engaging environment thanks to the presence of art.
The works exhibited at il Moro, created by the Milanese artist Debora Fella and normally kept by LeoGalleries, introduce us to a dreamy and delicate atmosphere that brings us back to “memory”, to an intimate vision of the passage of time that fades and confuses, to a “present” suspended between what is past and what is still in the making and are perfectly combined with the innovative style and contemporary design of the restaurant, Just recently renovated.
Along the same lines are the dishes made by Il Moro, the deepest expression of Sicilian tradition, but also of refinement and taste for abstraction and technical experimentation.
The artist Debora Fella herself will also be present at the inauguration.
LeoGalleries
LeoGalleries was founded in Monza in March 2009. It deals with art, hosting in the space of Via De Gradi the proposals of the new generations and the work of historical artists of the twentieth century, with particular attention to Futurism.
The aim of the gallery is to be more and more a point of reference for a new collecting, which today requires conceptual, thought, aesthetic content and investment possibilities from art. The gallery has always collaborated with organizations and institutions, carrying out projects
exhibitions in public and private venues. To support innovation in the artistic field and enhance human creativity, it also promotes art outside the traditional circuits.
