The Menu the Butticè chefs the solidarity lunch

A well-established event, the city of Monza dedicates a moment of happiness to the needy every year, with a menu dedicated to Christmas signed by the Butticè chefs of Il Moro Ristorante in Monza.

A moment of ethical, moral and sensitive sharing, Il Moro Ristorante with the Municipality of Monza and the Institute for State Food and Wine Services, A. Olivetti of Monza and other partners are taking action to dedicate the Christmas Menu to the homeless of Monza.

This year the other partners: Brianzacque, Acinque, Esselunga and Coop.

The solidarity action has been taking place for years at the Pavoniano Artigianelli Institute.

Christmas Menu Signed by the Monza Restaurant Il Moro

Chef Vincenzo Butticè of Il Moro di Monza and professor of food and wine at Olivetti this year wanted to propose a menu inspired by the Lombard tradition, also taking into account the ethnic diversity of the guests of the event.

The first aspect in the formulation of the Christmas Menu for the needy was to avoid the presence of ingredients or processed products of pork origin.

The chef, in synergy with the team of Il Moro Ristorante and Salvatore Butticè wanted to present a menu that would give warmth, brotherhood, roundness and territoriality, for these reasons they proposed:

Carrot pie and Gorgonzola PDO fondue

Salad of nervetti, croutons and foliage

Milanese risotto

Roast veal and roast potatoes

The mascarpone and vanilla cream to accompany the panettone.

Young students and solidarity action

The main actors and sensibilities were the students of the Olivetti Institute of Monza, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, third and fifth year students showed themselves to be immediately available and effectively very efficient.

The Director Renata Cumino, as every year, seizes with particular sensitivity and attention this solidarity event that involves young people in a concrete and operational way.

Guest satisfaction

The great satisfaction was given by the Guests, with their sense of gratitude and appreciation, friendly gestures and pats on the back to communicate the appreciation of the solidarity action and the appreciation of the Christmas Menu designed and created for them.

The final applause for all the students was wonderful for the young students, very excited and satisfied with the ethical and civic experience.
